Bloomfield School District is once again looking for help. They needs people to work one on one with students for an hour or two each week. If you'd like to volunteer, stop by the Jr/Sr High School or Elementary office to fill out a short form that will help us match you with just the right child.
Did you know..
...that the library recently put in a Digital Creativity Station that involves Mac computers and Google Cardboard Virtual Reality gear. Patrons need to sign up for an easy training session before use. Also, The Bloomfield Library Board met recently and closed on purchasing the Main Source Bank property which sits right across the street. The bank officially closed on March 1. The board thinks the building could be converted to study rooms, a community room and the drive through could be used to drop off books. Also FYI, the Library is done being renovated, you might want to stop by and take a look--maybe check out a book.
Please note that Bloomfield School District has a new website address this year. Also welcome to Doug Rose as the interim superintendent for Bloomfield School District. Some Nice Fall Images

They lost their home to a fire a little while back and need all the help they can get.
They need help if you can give it, their house was not insured so they are making do with not much more than the clothes on their backs. Their nephew TJ Terrell has set up a GoFundMe project to help the family recover. If you want to help but don't want to do it online, you can offer a donation at Mainsource Bank.
